Preparing to Sell Your Product
The following materials are needed to effectively bring your product to market and support the distributor, retailer and consumer. Creative Innovations can assist you with the creation and printing of all of these materials.
Product Specification Sheet - This document is presented to prospective distributors, chain accounts, catalogues and brokerages for each product offered and contains product details such as price, size, ingredients, benefits, and images.
- Sell Sheet - This document is designed for retailers, consumers, and trade shows. It includes attractive product images, description, key features, and sales benefits. It is also available for inserts to distributor catalogues in lieu of a distributor ad.
- Consumer Literature - This document can be a small folded piece, which is easier for retailers to hand out to consumers or to use for bag stuffing. It contains much of the same information as the Retailer sell sheet but is more focused toward the consumer. Some manufactures leave space on the back page to alternately print this document with a discount coupon to facilitate consumer movement.
- Insurance - A minimum of a $2 million product liability insurance policy is required by all distributors and key retail chains.
